†he passion of ralph
Excitement gripped the area, newspapers and TV were all over the developing story. UFO enthusiasts descended on Saltmoon, setting up camp on the clifftops toward Harrow’s Peak. An investigator from the Ministry of Defence, stationed at the airbase, was unable to find evidence of such landings, and further speculated that "a local prankster" might have been involved.
A cynical Ralph knew the real source was probably the British/US military. Nothing ever as it seemed. Since the end of the war, new developments in missile technology and jet engines, spearheaded by Werner Von Braun and the other Nazi scientists had been given a lease of life over in the US under Operation Paperclip...creating NASA and the developing CIA into the monster it is today.
There had long since been talk of space technology...time machines and other exotic experiments; Die Glocke, or 'The Bell', an SS anti-gravity programme discovered in the post-war forests of Poland. War-criminal scientists were brought to Porton Down, the British government's top secret facility, to develop all manner of appalling projects and experiments, carried out on an unsuspecting, unwitting public. Numerous black ops programmes were fanned out to the country as a whole...utilising facilities up and down the land.
The west were right to be paranoid. They knew what'd been divvied up. The harvesting of Nazi scientists split east/west and Moscow were busy creating secret experiments and programmes in parallel.
The supercool romance of Space travel gripped the nation...from Ziggy Stardust to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Popular became culture obsessed by it but, with the prospect of traveling to new worlds came the real possibility of visitors coming here to earth...and the whole UFO thing was born. From 1942 and the 'Battle of Los Angeles to Roswell in 47 to the Washington flap in 1952...where UFOs dazzled for two consecutive weekends...in one of the most extensive and well publicised UFO event ever, probably coordinated by the deep state.
Google Project Blue Book.
The powers love nothing more than a distraction, the proverbial dead cat on the table...so whilst we were all staring into the skies, the black projects rumbled on behind the scenes...testing devices and propulsion systems...and if any accidentally went haywire and buzzed past a block of apartment or tempted some local cops into the forest with multicoloured flashing lights, the UFO cover story was deployed willingly by local press and news agencies...the public enraptured by a juicy UFO mystery. All reenforced by the full-spectrum flood of space-related TV and literature...
It seemed the 'one small step' sky-castle was enough to fool a hypnotised world still jaded by and recovering from the horror of global conflict.
In order to win first prize in a fake US/Soviet space-race who, at the time, could've suspected the moon landings staged and, at the dawn of the cold war, our mothers and fathers, hammered by inescapable propaganda, living under the shadow of the mushroom cloud, didn't stand a chance.
Flush the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) into the mix, conceived by rocket scientist and arch occultist Jack Parsons, longtime associate of Alistair Crowley and branch leader of the Californian O.T.O. Parsons performed magical workings in the desert, bringing forth entities he didn't understand into a future he helped destroy.
Some suggest JP in the JPL stood for Jack Parsons, mooted by many as pure coincidence. He shared a house with fellow magickal practitioner L. Ron Hubbard, creator of scientology, who legged it with Parson's partner and key occult conspirator. Parsons later blew himself apart in an ill-fated rocket experiment.
So the perfect storm of a relentless war machine, black magicians and a gullible boomer public who believed everything they saw on the TV converged and the masses never stood a chance.
The new, Nazi-inspired era of space exploration, the potential of stepping out into Huxley's brave new world proved irresistible to our masters of war - and they created an beautiful illusion in which to trick us.
It wasn't a coincidence UFO flaps across the world occurred near, or in proximity to, UK/US air bases. It was an effective and convenient fairy story.
Call me paranoid...
